{"id":145,"date":"2018-04-28T17:50:23","date_gmt":"2018-04-28T17:50:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mecenvironmental.com\/?page_id=145"},"modified":"2021-09-16T15:58:43","modified_gmt":"2021-09-16T15:58:43","slug":"what-we-believe","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.mecenvironmental.com\/?page_id=145","title":{"rendered":"WHAT WE BELIEVE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color\" style=\"font-size:40px\"><strong>WHAT WE BELIEVE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">At<strong> MEC Environmental Consulting<\/strong> we believe in a strong work ethic and honest business practices. &nbsp;We hold these beliefs not only because they are right, but because God&#8217;s Word, the Bible, commands it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">While we do not intend to force our beliefs on anyone, we are not ashamed of those beliefs, and wish to share them in a straightforward manner here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"font-size:18px\"><li>We believe that there is one eternal Living God, and that He created the earth and every living thing on it. (Genesis 1)<\/li><li>We believe that God created humankind to have fellowship with Him, but sin separated us from God. (Genesis 3)<\/li><li>We believe that the wages of sin is death, in other words, eternal separation from God. (Romans 6:23)<\/li><li>We believe that out of His deep love and mercy for us, God sent his one and only son, Jesus Christ, to die in our place as a payment for our sin. &nbsp;After his death, Jesus was resurrected in victory over sin and death. (John 3:16, I Corinthians 15:3-8)<\/li><li>We believe that the only way to salvation and eternal life in heaven is through trusting in Jesus and allowing him to work in our lives (John 3:36; John 14:6; Acts 4:12)<\/li><li>We firmly believe that ALL people, regardless of past sin, have the opportunity to enter into a deep and real relationship with Jesus Christ and receive salvation. &nbsp;Like with any gift, one has a choice to accept or reject salvation from Jesus. We pray that you would come to know him today.
